Spiritual Arts
Spiritual Arts are what are also known as magic. In theory everyone can use them but in reality normal humans do not have a big enough Ki container in order to perform any kind of magic. There is also the factor of affinities. Depending on affinity you may be able to perform some magic better than others. If one wants to learn magic, the first thing to do is testing the compatibility to the respective Essences.

Cultivation & Ki Container
The Spiritual Energy used to perform magic is called Cultivation and Ki. While it is technically the same thing, it is referred to differently. It is comparable of a body's fat burning mechanism. Ki is the unit of the temporary magical powers that regenerates with rest. Each individual however possesses different amount respectively cap of energy, which is the Ki Container. The container grows with cultivation. The more ones gather cultivation which is the permanent magical power, the bigger the Ki Container gets. However if one overuses magic and they Ki container is emptied, the Cultivation itself will be used up instead.

Essences
More commonly known as Elements, Essences are categorized into 2 groups.
Base Essence
Light
This Essence not only focuses on light magic but also includes things like shielding and healing
Dark
This Essence includes magic like Necromancy and Cursing aside from the pure attribute magic of casting darkness.
Void
This Essence is special and includes Mind Magic and Time Magic.
Null
This is the base type of Base Essences. Null Magic can be used by anyone and includes Enchanting, Bewitching Magic and Creation Magic as well as summoning, also called “Calling”.
Sub Essence
Fire
This includes everything of pure fire magic, not to confuse with light magic.
Water
Water Essence includes all water magic in its liquid form. No ice of fog.
Wind
The unseen element wind includes purely wind magic such as wind used for floating or wind blades.
Earth
All things Earth can be created or manipulated.
Ki Arts
Sometimes known as Magical Arts or Spiritual Arts. Ki Arts are the technique that use Ki and Essence to perform magic. Besides the Basic Ki Arts that are thought by the respective mentors, Ki Arts can be created by each Student.
- Each Ki Arts is made of different components:
- Cultivation + Null Essence
- Cultivation + Sub Essence
- Cultivation + Sub Essence + Null Essence
- Cultivation + Base Essence
- Cultivation + Base Essence + Sub Essence
- Cultivation + Base Essence + Sub Essence + Null Essence
- Alternate Essences can be created by combining certain Essences. Some of them are:
- Fire Essence + Wind Essence = Lightning Essence
- Fire Essence + Earth Essence = Magma/Lava Essence
- Water Essence + Wind Essence = Ice/Snow Essence
- Wind Essence + Earth Essence = Sand Essence
- Fire Essence + Water Essence + Wind Essence = Steam/Fog Essence
- Fire Essence + Water Essence + Earth Essence = Stone/Crystal Essence
- Fire Essence + Water Essence + Wind Essence + Earth Essence = Metal/Mineral Essence
Essence Sparks
Essence Sparks are basically the unit the measure Essence. For Example: “This skill needs 5 Fire Essence Sparks” The Level/Strength of Ki Art depends on the Essence Sparks used. Every Ki Art creation Formula, simplified is 50% Cultivation and 50% Essence Sparks. The Stronger the base Ki Art the more Cultivation is used up. Also Ki Arts need more Cultivation and Essences to level up the stronger the Base Ki Art and the heighter the current Level. There also exist two special kind of Essence Sparks. One being the “Luminous Essence Spark”. These are Higher Essence worth multiple normal Essence Sparks of the respective Essence Attribute. Using Luminous Essence Sparks is advantageous when used for higher Ki Arts since only the equivalent number of Cultivation needs to be used. The other special one is the Chroma Essence Spark. It serves as a substitute for any Essence and also exists in the Luminous form.
