Ranking

Character

There are two kind of Ranks for Characters. One is the normal Rank, which is basically the Character’s Level. The other is the Ascension Rank which are milestones to be reached while climbing the Ranks. Each Character starts off as Rank 1 Mortal with the exception of Ascendet Animals who start off as a Rank 1 Immortal. After reaching Rank 5, a Mortal has to pass his first Heavenly Tribulation in order to Ascend to Immortal. After a Tribulation the Characters starts off as a Rank 1 again in the respective Ascension Rank.
  • Mortal Rank 25 + Heavenly Tribulation = Immortal Rank 1
  • Immortal Rank 100 + Heavenly Tribulation = High Immortal Rank 1
  • High Immortal Rank 125 + Heavenly Tribulation = Deity Rank 1
  • Deity Rank 150 + Heavenly Tribulation = God Rank 1
  • God Rank 150 + Heavenly Tribulation = High God Rank 1
  • High God Rank 200 + Heavenly Tribulation = Omni God Rank 1

While your Rank Character Rank resets after a Tribulation, the Tribulation also serves as a Savepoint. Once an Ascension Rank is obtained it cannot be lost again. However the Character Rank can always decrease by spending the accumulated Cultivation all the way back to Rank 1 of the respective Ascension Rank. Thus it is recommended to only start spending Cultivation after at least reaching the Rank of Immortal.

Soulbound

Soulbounds are basically your Character’s very own Pokemon or Digimon. They have their own Evolution Rank called “Stage” which is comparable with the Ascension Rank of the Character’s. While your Character can Contract with a higher Rank Beast, it will always revert back to it’s first Stage. The only advantage of Contracting with a higher Rank Beast is, it retains its Battle Stats, thus starting off stronger and being able to reach a stronger point, same as with the Ki Arts. The Evolution from one Stage to another is called “Bonding”. However bonding does not automatically kick in right after hitting a certain Rank. It can be held off for however long one wants to for whatever reason. The longer a Soulbound retains a Rank, the Stronger will be the max Ranked version. Again after a Bonding the Ranking is reset to 1 in its new stage. A character may form a Contract with a potential Soulbound only after reaching Immortal Rank 20.
  • Stage1 Rank 5 + Bonding = Stage 2
  • Stage1 Rank 15 + Bonding = Stage 3
  • Stage1 Rank 25+ Bonding = Stage 4
  • Stage1 Rank 35 + Bonding = Stage 5
  • Stage 1 - Baby Form: This is a very premature form usually very small and cute. In this stage it can only use “Battle Ability 1”.
  • Stage 2 - Child Form: It can now use “Battle Ability 2” and “Ki Art 1”
  • Stage 3 - Teen Form: It is now able to use “Battle Ability 3”.
  • Stage 4 - Adult Form: As a fully grown Soulbound it can now use “Ki Art 2” and the Special Ability to verbally communicate with Humans.
  • Stage 5 - Elder Form: Already considered Experienced and wise it finally learns “Ki Art 3” and the Special Ability to communicate telepathically with its Master only.

Magic Treasure

Magic Treasures do not have any Stats or Ranks. Creating and/or Contracting a Magic Treasure is a one time only thing and may be done after the Character reaches Immortal Rank 50.

Ki Arts

As a Mortal Ki Arts cannot be learned yet. Ki Arts received as a reward will not be lost and will be learned as soon as Immortal Rank 1 is reached. After reaching Immortal Rank 1 the Default Ki Arts may be learned. Learning Custom Ki Arts can be done after Reaching Immortal Rank 10. Creating Custom Ki Arts is only possible after reaching Immortal Rank 40.

Beast Bone

Some Mission and Event rewards include an unique item (one may not get any duplicates of this item). It is a special Item taken from strong mythical Beasts. One can equip them within restrictions. There are different body parts of the beast bones, thus one can only have one beast bone per body part. Slots are as following: Head, Right Shoulder, Left Shoulder, Right Arm, Left Arm, Right Hand, Left Hand, Upper Body, Right Leg, Left Leg, Right Foot, Left Foot. A Beastbone may give stats, buffs and even Ki Arts. However, depending on affinity the effectivity may be lowered the same way as it does with Ki Art.
